Group gasket leak
A group gasket leak is routine wear; we renew the gasket and dispersion screen and confirm the seal.
Compact value flagship, fixed
Rover down behind a busy two-group bar? We see this compact value flagship regularly, so the faults are familiar: unstable pressure on its 11.5L boiler, a group gasket leaking, a steam valve dripping, volumetric doses drifting. Tell us the model and the symptom and we repair the Rover in one visit.

Wega · Compact value-tier traditional espresso
The Rover is Wega's compact two-group value flagship, a single 11.5L heat-exchanger machine. It packs a full feature set into a light 55kg footprint: four programmable doses per group, integrated barista lights over the work surface, and three-position adjustable drip trays handle everything from espresso cups to tall takeaway. On the bench it is honest, serviceable hardware: boiler pressure, group seals, steam valves, and a flow meter are the regular calls, and the compact build keeps the work quick.

Rover faults we diagnose
Below are the Wega Rover faults that book service calls, from unstable boiler pressure to drifting volumetric doses, each with the cause and the fix.
A group gasket leak is routine wear; we renew the gasket and dispersion screen and confirm the seal.
Brew pressure below spec is the pump or the OPV. We gauge it, adjust the OPV, and quote a pump only if it is worn.
Volumetric dose drift is flow-meter buildup. We clean the meter and reprogram the four programmable doses per group to a calibrated glass.
Auto-fill that will not engage is a scaled probe or a failed solenoid. We test both and replace whichever has quit.
A cold cup warmer is a failed element or switch. We test both and replace what is out of spec.
Unstable pressure on the Rover's 11.5L boiler is a pressurestat or element fault. We test the pressurestat, descale, and replace whatever is out of spec.
A dripping steam valve is a worn cartridge. We rebuild it and confirm it shuts off dry.

Enough reserve for a compact two-group machine to hold steam and brew temperature through a steady bar. It is a heat-exchanger design, so cooling-flush habits still matter for shot consistency.
Yes, that is its rating, which is generous for a two-group machine its size. Sustained high volume just brings the wear parts forward, so a regular service keeps it honest.
They drop or raise to take everything from espresso cups to tall takeaway. If a tray starts sticking it is usually grounds in the mechanism, which we clean and free.
Yes. The integrated work-surface lights are an LED circuit; we test the driver, reseat connectors, and replace the strip if a segment has failed.
Usually a pressurestat or element fault. We test the pressurestat, descale, and replace whatever is out of spec.
Flow-meter buildup. We clean the meter and reprogram the four doses per group against a calibrated glass.
For nearly every fault, yes. It is value hardware where seals, valves, and a flow meter are small money against replacement, and the compact build keeps labour quick.
At about 55kg empty it is on the lighter side for a two-group, so it relocates more easily than most. We will check the install and water connection wherever it lands.
Flat rate for the visit, parts billed at their actual cost on top. You'll hear the rate when you book, and for bigger jobs we quote in writing on-site before any work starts. No estimate that balloons mid-job.
Same-day in most cases. Call in the morning and a technician is usually on-site before the day is out; calls placed later in the day book for the next morning. Urgent breakdowns get priority routing.
The GTA and most of the Golden Horseshoe: Toronto through Mississauga, Vaughan, and Markham, out to Oshawa, Hamilton, and Niagara. If you're not sure you're in range, call and we'll tell you straight.
No. We work call by call. Plenty of customers put us on a maintenance schedule eventually, but that's their choice after seeing the work, never a requirement.
Parts carry their manufacturer warranty, and we stand behind our labour: if the same fault recurs, call us and we'll review it. Specific terms are discussed upfront on each job, not promised in marketing copy.
On-site whenever possible, which is most of the time. If a job genuinely needs the bench, like a full boiler rebuild or major electronics work, we'll say so before anything leaves your building.
Call us or send the form on this page. We confirm the machine, the fault, and a time window the same day. If it's urgent, say so and we'll route the nearest technician.
Diagnosis first: we confirm the fault, tell you what caused it, and quote the fix before touching a wrench. Most repairs finish in that same visit because the common wear parts ride on the truck.
High-wear parts for the platforms we service constantly ride on the truck. Anything else we order, usually next-day where suppliers allow, and we tell you the lead time before committing you to anything.
Usually, yes. We service legacy machines for as long as parts can be sourced, and we're honest when a repair stops making financial sense against a replacement. You get the math, you make the call.
Often, but that's not the pitch. We quote against the actual work, not a factory pricing book, and we'll tell you when a manufacturer warranty claim is the better route. Transparency is the value; the price usually follows.
Yes, and we do it by default on the way out. Half of repeat faults trace back to skipped daily cleaning or wrong routine, so the technician walks your team through what actually matters before leaving.
