It runs a single rapid-recovery boiler and the TopFoam milk system, and it skips the Steam Perfect auto-wand the XT7 and XT8 carry, which keeps it simpler and more compact. Hospitality floors and contract caterers run it for steady mid-shift volume. From the bench the single boiler and the TopFoam module are where most of the service hours go.

Grounds in the cup or thin shots mean a torn screen, a worn piston seal, or grind drift. We check the screens, fit a fresh piston seal, and recalibrate the grind.
A leak at the drip tray is usually the brew unit's lower seal wearing through after a year or so of cycles. We pressure-test the brew circuit, locate the leak, and replace the seal set.
Slow heat-up is scale on the element or an element starting to degrade. We descale, time the heat-up against spec, and replace the element if it does not recover.
Weak steam is scale in the circuit or a blocked valve. We descale the steam path and replace the valve cartridge if it is needed.
A descale alert that will not clear means the cycle did not finish or the counter was not reset. We confirm the cycle ran, reset the counter, and check the water-hardness setting against your supply.
A leak underneath is a failed O-ring, a brew unit seal, or a cracked hose. We pressure-test the circuit, find the exact point, and replace the part.
Weak TopFoam foam comes from milk protein in the chamber, a worn air-intake spring, or an air valve off calibration. We strip and sanitize the module, renew the springs and seals, reset the air-flow, and check foam density before leaving.
Cold milk is usually a failing temperature sensor or scale in the heat exchanger. We test the sensor, descale the circuit, and replace the sensor when it reads out of spec.
Off-tasting milk drinks point straight to a skipped daily clean. We deep-clean the pathway, swap the silicone line if it has stained, and reset the staff on the daily HACCP routine.
Dose drift on the BeanSelect grinders is burr wear. We weigh the dose, measure the burr gap, reset the targets, and replace burrs when they have worn past spec.
Grinder noise or a grinder that will not feed usually means a foreign object or bridged beans. We open it up, clear the obstruction, inspect the burrs, and clean out the throat.
An unresponsive touchscreen is a firmware hang or a hardware fault. We reset it, check the firmware, and replace the display module only if the panel itself has failed.
We read the error history, pinpoint the failing sensor, relay, or board, and replace it. Most F-codes are a single-visit fix.
