Why are my Black Eagle Maverick's groups pulling at different temperatures?
Each group has its own micro-boiler and temperature sensor, and a single drifted sensor will pull its group away from the others. We test every sensor against a calibrated reference probe, descale the affected circuit, and recalibrate the T3 offsets. After that, the groups should agree to within a fraction of a degree.
The Gravitech dose on my Maverick keeps drifting. Do the load cells need replacing?
Usually not. Most drift is calibration or environment: a drip tray that isn't seated squarely, a machine slightly off level, or vibration from a fridge compressor under the bar. We recalibrate against reference weights first and only quote a load cell when drift survives a proper calibration.
Can you fix pressure profiling that won't hold through the shot?

NEO is the energy-recovery system, and a fault there usually means a recovery-loop sensor or controller relay has failed. The machine keeps brewing on standard heating, so it's not an emergency; it just stops recovering heat. We read the diagnostic log, replace the failed component, and restore the calibration.
How often does a Black Eagle Maverick need descaling?
It depends on your water and your volume, and a Maverick near its 400-shot ceiling on hard water needs attention far sooner than the calendar suggests. The T3 design means several boilers to protect, not one. We size the interval to your actual water, and we check scale condition on every visit regardless.
My pre-infusion stopped engaging. How serious is that?
Not catastrophic, but you'll taste it: shots hit full pressure immediately and run harsher. The cause is usually a stuck solenoid or a burnt coil. It's a straightforward part swap, and we verify the ramp on the pressure curve before calling it fixed.
Steam feels weaker by mid-morning. What's going on?
The steam boiler is falling behind sustained demand, and the usual reason is scale insulating the heating element. Recovery stretches exactly when the milk queue is longest. A steam circuit descale plus an element resistance test resolves most cases; an element that reads low gets replaced.

Do you repair on-site or take the machine away?
On-site whenever possible, which is most of the time. If a job genuinely needs the bench, like a full boiler rebuild or major electronics work, we'll say so before anything leaves your building.

What happens on the first visit?
Diagnosis first: we confirm the fault, tell you what caused it, and quote the fix before touching a wrench. Most repairs finish in that same visit because the common wear parts ride on the truck.
Do you carry parts or order them in?
High-wear parts for the platforms we service constantly ride on the truck. Anything else we order, usually next-day where suppliers allow, and we tell you the lead time before committing you to anything.
My machine is older or out of production. Will you still look at it?
Usually, yes. We service legacy machines for as long as parts can be sourced, and we're honest when a repair stops making financial sense against a replacement. You get the math, you make the call.
Are you cheaper than the manufacturer's service network?
Often, but that's not the pitch. We quote against the actual work, not a factory pricing book, and we'll tell you when a manufacturer warranty claim is the better route. Transparency is the value; the price usually follows.
Can you train our staff so this doesn't happen again?
Yes, and we do it by default on the way out. Half of repeat faults trace back to skipped daily cleaning or wrong routine, so the technician walks your team through what actually matters before leaving.
