The E1 Prima is Victoria Arduino's single-group machine, sized for small bars pouring up to 100 shots a day. A heat-exchanger boiler feeds the group, the footprint fits a satellite counter, and the family covers the Prima, Prima Pro, and Prima EXP trims. On the bench it's the simplest Victoria Arduino to keep healthy: scale management, pressure stat swaps, and steam valve rebuilds account for most of its service life.

Most E1 Prima calls start with one of these. For each: the likely cause and what we do at the counter.

A worn pre-infusion gasket lets the chamber weep and softens the shot. We strip the group, replace the gasket set, and pressure-test before reassembly.
Low brew pressure is pump wear or OPV drift. We measure at the portafilter, set the OPV back to spec, and replace the pump if it can't hold the number.
A part-blocked gicleur slows the only group you have. We pull it for an ultrasonic clean and verify flow rate before the machine goes back to work.
A chattering stat is on its way out, and it takes element life with it through rapid cycling. We swap it for an OEM-spec stat and verify clean cut-in and cut-out points.

Most chassis leaks trace to a fitting or valve discharge rather than the boiler itself. We pressure-test, dye-trace, and replace the failed part instead of retightening and hoping.
Dripping after shutoff means the steam valve cartridge has worn out. The valve gets rebuilt with a fresh kit, the tip and pathway descaled, and the shutoff verified to hold.
Weak steam on an E1 Prima nearly typically means scale in the steam pathway. We descale the circuit, clear the tip, and check pressure recovery against spec.
Flow meter impellers coated in mineral deposit miscount their pulses. We pull and clean the meter, reinstall, and reprogram doses by weight.
Microswitch corrosion stops dose buttons registering. We clean the contacts, replace failed switches, and test every button before closing the panel.
A scaled conductivity probe misreports the boiler level. Descaling restores it; a pitted probe is replaced.
A cold cup tray points to a failed relay or thermostat. We test both and replace the one that's gone.
