Can I remove the Caffè Bar's brew group myself for cleaning?
Yes, that's the point of the 21g removable metal group: it comes out for rinsing without tools. What stays technician work is the rebuild side, meaning seals, screens, and anything involving the drive. If the group jams or leaks even after a clean, stop cycling it and book a visit.
Why is the Caffè Bar's coffee coming out cooler than before?
Scale on the dual stainless boilers, a drifting sensor, or a tired element. We descale, test element resistance and sensor values, then run back-to-back drinks to prove temperature holds under load. Most of these resolve at the descale step.
Why does the grinder on my Caffè Bar time out or run loud?
Beans bridging in the 1200g hopper, debris in the burrs, or plain burr wear. Tap the hopper to clear bridging and check for stones before anything else. Persistent noise or timeouts mean the 54mm burr set needs inspection and possibly replacement.
Is the steam wand on the Caffè Bar strong enough for latte art?
When healthy, yes; it's a true steam wand fed by a dedicated boiler, not a frother imitation. Wet or weak steam means scale in the path or a worn valve rather than a design limit. Descaling the wand and rebuilding the valve brings the texture back.
Why is my Caffè Bar's touchscreen not responding?
Firmware hang, loose display connector, or a failing digitizer, in that order of likelihood. A service-mode reset clears most of them. We only quote a new 10.1-inch panel after hardware failure is actually confirmed.
What does the low-water prompt mean when the Caffè Bar is plumbed in?
The machine isn't seeing enough flow at the inlet: a blocked filter, a scaled solenoid, or low building pressure. We test the inlet pressure, clean the screen, and inspect the valve seat. If your building supply is the bottleneck, you'll hear that from us rather than getting a parts bill.
Why won't the Caffè Bar finish its cleaning cycle?
A blocked drain, a level-sensor fault, or an interruption partway through the cleaning path. We flush the path, check the waste route, and run the full cycle end to end. Don't keep brewing around a failed clean; milk and coffee residue compound fast.
How many drinks a day can a Caffè Bar realistically make?
Bellucci rates it for 150 to 200 cups a day, and the dual boilers genuinely carry that in café and restaurant service. Cleaning cadence is what decides whether it stays happy there. Machines that get their daily routine hold the rating; machines that don't, drift down it.
There's water pooling under my Caffè Bar cabinet. How bad is it?
Worth a call now rather than next week: chassis leaks come from brew-group seals, boiler fittings, steam fittings, or drain routing, and all of them worsen. We pressure-test to trace the exact source and replace only what failed. Catching it early usually keeps it a seal-level repair.
How much does a repair visit cost?
Flat rate for the visit, parts billed at their actual cost on top. You'll hear the rate when you book, and for bigger jobs we quote in writing on-site before any work starts. No estimate that balloons mid-job.
How fast can you get here?
Same-day in most cases. Call in the morning and a technician is usually on-site before the day is out; calls placed later in the day book for the next morning. Urgent breakdowns get priority routing.
Which areas do you cover?
The GTA and most of the Golden Horseshoe: Toronto through Mississauga, Vaughan, and Markham, out to Oshawa, Hamilton, and Niagara. If you're not sure you're in range, call and we'll tell you straight.
Do I need a service contract?
No. We work call by call. Plenty of customers put us on a maintenance schedule eventually, but that's their choice after seeing the work, never a requirement.
Are the repairs warrantied?
Parts carry their manufacturer warranty, and we stand behind our labour: if the same fault recurs, call us and we'll review it. Specific terms are discussed upfront on each job, not promised in marketing copy.
Do you repair on-site or take the machine away?
On-site whenever possible, which is most of the time. If a job genuinely needs the bench, like a full boiler rebuild or major electronics work, we'll say so before anything leaves your building.
How do I book a service call?
Call us or send the form on this page. We confirm the machine, the fault, and a time window the same day. If it's urgent, say so and we'll route the nearest technician.
What happens on the first visit?
Diagnosis first: we confirm the fault, tell you what caused it, and quote the fix before touching a wrench. Most repairs finish in that same visit because the common wear parts ride on the truck.
Do you carry parts or order them in?
High-wear parts for the platforms we service constantly ride on the truck. Anything else we order, usually next-day where suppliers allow, and we tell you the lead time before committing you to anything.
My machine is older or out of production. Will you still look at it?
Usually, yes. We service legacy machines for as long as parts can be sourced, and we're honest when a repair stops making financial sense against a replacement. You get the math, you make the call.
Are you cheaper than the manufacturer's service network?
Often, but that's not the pitch. We quote against the actual work, not a factory pricing book, and we'll tell you when a manufacturer warranty claim is the better route. Transparency is the value; the price usually follows.
Can you train our staff so this doesn't happen again?
Yes, and we do it by default on the way out. Half of repeat faults trace back to skipped daily cleaning or wrong routine, so the technician walks your team through what actually matters before leaving.
