Bellucci commercial coffee machine, serviced by Grajqevci in Toronto and the GTA.
Bellucci commercial coffee machine logo.

Italian machines with a Canadian passport.

Bellucci machines are Italian-built under a Canadian house brand, from a family firm that grew out of Saeco Canada. The super-automatic side pours in offices, restaurants, and self-serve corners; the traditional side runs café bars that want PID stability without flagship pricing. From the bench, the quirk is the badge: the parts book belongs to whichever Italian OEM built the platform, so knowing the family tree is half the diagnosis.

Bellucci faults we diagnose

Common Bellucci issues, and how we fix them.

Twelve faults account for nearly every Bellucci call we take. Each entry covers the likely cause and how the repair actually goes.

Brew system & pressure 5 issues
!

Group head gasket leak or seepage at portafilter

Standard wear on the Artista PRO traditional machine. We pull the dispersion screen and shower screw, fit a new group gasket, descale the screen, and confirm a clean seal under brew pressure before packing up. On the Caffè Bar, Caffè Bar Plus, and Twin Plus automatics, the same complaint usually points at the brew unit instead, so that's where we look first.

!

Dispersion screen scaled or blocked

Mineral buildup chokes the screen until water stops distributing evenly and shots start channelling. We pull the screen, descale it or replace it if it's past saving, and confirm even distribution with a blind shot test. If scale keeps returning this fast, we review your water filtration too.

!

Brew group jamming or stuck cycle (Bistro super-automatic)

Grind buildup, worn seals, or a brew piston running dry of lubricant. The brew group comes out, every wear surface gets cleaned and inspected, seals and gaskets are replaced, and the piston is re-greased with food-safe lubricant. It cycles through multiple test shots before we call it fixed.

!

Vibration pump noisy or down on pressure

Years of daily duty cycles wear out the vibration pumps on the smaller traditional-style Bellucci platforms; on the automatics, pump trouble surfaces through the brew unit and boiler fill circuits instead. We measure pump output, check the inlet for restrictions, and replace the pump when it can't make spec. The noise usually leaves with it.

!

Brew pressure not at spec or pressure gauge reading wrong

One of three things: pump wear, an expansion valve out of adjustment, or a gauge that's simply lying. We measure true pressure at the group with a portafilter gauge, compare it against the panel reading, then adjust the valve or replace the failing part. You'll see the corrected number on both gauges before we leave.

Water, boiler & heating 3 issues
!

Slow heating or boiler not reaching set temperature

Nine times out of ten this is scale insulating the heating element; element degradation is the runner-up. We descale the boiler, time the heat-up against spec, and replace the element if performance doesn't come back. Expect it on Caffè Bar, Caffè Bar Plus, and Twin Plus machines past their first descaling interval.

!

Boiler pressure not holding or pressurestat drift

Pressurestat calibration drifts with age, the switch can stick, and a degraded element shows the same symptom. We test the pressurestat at its setpoint, measure element resistance, and replace whichever part is failing. Before sign-off the boiler holds pressure through a 30-minute test, so you're not calling us back next week.

!

Water leak under the machine or drip tray overflow

Could be a brew solenoid seal, a group seal, a blocked drain hose, or a hairline crack in an internal water line. We pressure-test each circuit until the leak shows itself, replace the failing seal or line, and clear any drain blockage. The machine runs multiple cycles dry before we sign off.

Milk & steam 2 issues
!

Super-automatic milk frother producing weak foam or off-taste (Bistro, Bistro Pro)

Skipped daily cleaning causes most of these, with worn air-intake springs and clogged milk lines behind the rest. We strip and sanitize the whole milk pathway, replace the air-intake spring if its compression is below spec, and verify foam quality before we go. Your staff get a quick rerun of the cleaning protocol too, because that's what prevents the repeat call.

!

Steam wand valve worn, dripping, or weak steam

Steam valve cartridges and tip seals are routine wear on any machine that steams milk daily. We rebuild the valve with the correct cartridge, descale the wand internals and tip orifice, and check for dry steam at full open. Steam boiler pressure gets confirmed at the gauge on the way out.

Electronics, grinder & other 2 issues
!

Display fault, button unresponsive, or controller error

Bellucci sources its controllers from more than one Italian manufacturer, so the first job is identifying which OEM built yours. Once the cross-reference is done, we source the correct controller or interface module through that channel and fit it. Identification is the slow part; the swap itself usually fits in a single visit.

!

Integrated milk fridge not cooling to spec

The milk fridges that pair with the Bistro and Caffè Bar machines develop thermostat drift, compressor faults, or door-seal leaks over time. We test the thermostat, check compressor operation, and replace the door seal if it's compromised. The unit has to hold 4°C before we consider the job done.

Updated July 2026

Who repairs Bellucci coffee machines in the Toronto area?

We do. Grajqevci is a commercial coffee equipment repair company that services the Bellucci line for offices, cafés, restaurants, and hotels across the GTA, from Hamilton out to Markham. The coverage list further down the page shows every zone we reach.

Are you an authorized Bellucci service centre?

No, and we won't pretend otherwise. We're an independent commercial coffee equipment specialist, which means we quote against the actual work and take on machines regardless of where they were bought. Bellucci's own service operation is in Montreal; we're the local option when shipping a machine to Quebec makes no sense.

Who actually makes Bellucci coffee machines?

Bellucci is a Canadian company headquartered in Laval, Quebec, and the machines are built in Italy to Bellucci's specification. The Italian factory behind the badge has varied across generations, which matters for parts. Part of our job on every Bellucci call is cross-referencing the model against the original manufacturer's catalogue so the right component arrives the first time.

Can you get parts for a Bellucci machine in the GTA?

Yes. Because the machines are private-labelled, parts run through cross-reference: we identify the Italian OEM behind your model and source through that channel or through Bellucci's own network. Common wear parts (gaskets, seals, O-rings, springs) ride on the truck; platform-specific boards and modules typically arrive within a few business days.

I bought my Bellucci machine in Quebec. Will you still service it here?

Of course. Bellucci sells through 700+ retailers across Canada, so machines bought in Montreal or Laval turn up in GTA businesses all the time. Where you bought it changes nothing about the repair; give us the model name and the symptom and we'll take it from there.

How fast can you get to a broken Bellucci machine?

Most calls placed in the morning see a technician the same day, and later calls book for the next business day. Mention the model when you book so the likely parts come along. A machine that's the only coffee source in the building gets bumped up the route.

How much does Bellucci coffee machine repair cost?

The visit and diagnosis are a flat rate you hear before anyone is dispatched, with parts billed at cost on top. Small jobs like gaskets and sensors stay small; brew unit overhauls and controller swaps get quoted in writing before work starts. If a repair stops making sense against replacement, we say so.

What goes wrong most often on Bellucci super-automatics?

Milk systems first, brew units second, scale third. Skipped daily cleaning flattens foam and sours milk drinks, grind buildup jams brew groups, and scale slows the boilers on any machine without filtration. All three are routine repairs, and all three are largely preventable with the right habits, which we teach on the way out.

What does the E01 error mean on a Bellucci Bistro?

E01 is a brew unit position fault: the unit can't reach its home position or the sensor can't see it get there. Grind buildup is the usual cause, with worn cam followers and a failing drive motor behind the stubborn cases. Power-cycle once; if it returns, the unit needs to come out for cleaning, seals, and lubrication, which is standard work for us.

Why is the milk foam weak on my Bellucci machine?

Skipped daily cleaning is the leading cause across the whole line, followed by a worn air-intake spring and clogged milk lines. The fix is a strip-down and sanitize of the milk pathway, a new spring if compression is below spec, and a foam test before sign-off. If the daily clean genuinely happens and foam still fails, the lines themselves are usually past their life.

Why is my Bellucci machine heating so slowly?

Scale on the heating element, almost every time. The smaller thermoblock machines feel it first, and skipped descaling intervals bring it on early. We descale, time the heat-up against spec, and replace the element only if the numbers don't recover.

Do you service the Caffè Bar and Caffè Bar Plus?

Yes, both, including the Plus's one-touch milk system, soluble-product canisters, and MDB payment interface. The Plus runs unattended in a lot of placements, so we treat its faults with vending urgency: a machine nobody watches needs to get fixed fast. Brew group, boiler, and grinder work is shared across both models.

Can you repair the Bellucci Twin Plus in a self-serve or OCS placement?

Yes, that's its natural habitat and we work in it regularly. Brew unit position faults, soluble powder bridging, milk clean cycles that stall, and payment interface dropouts are the usual Twin Plus calls. We also read the fault history on every visit, which catches the repeat offenders before they strand the machine.

Can you fix the Bellucci milk fridge or cooler?

Yes. Most cooling complaints end at dusty condenser coils or a drifting thermostat rather than a dead compressor, so don't write the unit off. We test, clean, and replace what's actually failed, and the unit has to hold 4°C before we leave.

Do you repair home Bellucci machines like the BistroCasa or Slim Caffè?

No, those are residential models and we stay in our commercial lane. The commercial line, Bistro through Artista PRO, is what we service. For a home machine, the retailer you bought from or Bellucci's own support line is the right path.

How long should a Bellucci commercial machine last?

With water treatment and honest daily cleaning, the super-automatics give a solid 7 to 10 years and the traditional Artista PRO longer. Scale and milk neglect are what shorten lives, and both are preventable. We've kept plenty of these machines earning well past the point a spec sheet would suggest.

Bellucci came out of Saeco Canada. Do you service Saeco machines too?

Yes, Saeco is on our roster as well, and the family resemblance helps: several Bellucci platforms share architecture with Saeco-derived designs. That overlap means the diagnosis patterns and some parts knowledge carry across. Whichever badge is on the machine, name the model when you call.

What maintenance does a Bellucci super-automatic actually need?

Daily, the milk clean cycle, every single day, no exceptions. Periodically, descaling on the interval the machine asks for, a brew unit service with fresh seals and lubrication, and a filter change when the cartridge is spent. Machines that get this list stay off our emergency schedule almost entirely.

We run several Bellucci machines across different locations. Can you handle all of them?

Yes, multi-machine and multi-site work is routine for us. One booking can cover every unit, with a single report at the end describing what was done to each. Fleets are also where patterns show: when the same fault appears at three sites, the cause is usually water or routine, not the machines.

About Bellucci

Reviewed July 2026

Bellucci, in brief.

Bellucci is a family-owned, Quebec-headquartered Canadian coffee equipment company. It sells Italian-built commercial espresso machines under its own name and distributes several major Italian and Swiss equipment brands across the country.

Quebec heritage, Italian manufacturing

Bellucci is a family-owned Canadian coffee equipment company with its head office and distribution centre in Laval, Quebec, and its boutique, parts, and service operation on Saint-Laurent Boulevard in Montreal. The business emerged from Saeco Canada in the late 1980s and has spent more than 35 years building one of the largest coffee equipment distribution networks in Canada, with more than 700 retailers across Canada and the United States.

Distributor footprint and brand partners

In addition to the Bellucci-branded house line, Bellucci is the exclusive Canadian distributor for several major manufacturers including Saeco, Caffitaly System, Carimali, Slingshot, Otto, and Thermoplan. The Bellucci-branded espresso machines themselves are manufactured in Italy under specification and sold under the Bellucci label.

Bellucci-branded commercial line

Bellucci's current branded lineup mixes automatic and traditional-style equipment. Bistro and Bistro Pro cover compact office and hospitality super-automatic service. Caffè Bar, Caffè Bar Plus, and Twin Plus are commercial bean-to-cup / automatic platforms with touch interfaces, milk systems, soluble-product paths, and OCS-friendly service requirements. Artista PRO covers smaller traditional espresso programs where group seals, pump pressure, boiler control, and steam service matter more than automatic brew-unit cleaning.

Bellucci machines we service across the GTA

Current Bellucci commercial machines we service include Bistro, Bistro Pro, Caffè Bar, Caffè Bar Plus, Twin Plus, Artista PRO, and the Bellucci milk fridge and chiller accessories. The Bellucci Slim Caffè and BistroCasa are residential models and sit outside our commercial repair scope. Because these are Italian-built machines under spec, they share components and service patterns with several mainstream Italian brands. That familiarity is exactly what our technicians bring to every visit.

Why Bellucci machines need specialist service

Bellucci machines are private-labelled: the service documentation is often in Italian, and parts identification means cross-referencing against the original manufacturer's catalogue. A generalist appliance tech without that cross-reference spends the visit guessing. We have the parts diagrams, the manufacturer relationships, and the inventory to keep the whole lineup running.

Your Bellucci deserves a specialist.
