Do you repair Bravilor Bonamat coffee machines across the GTA?
Yes, regularly. Bravilor is one of the filter-brewer and instant-dispenser brands we see most across GTA offices, hotels, catering kitchens, and QSR. There's usually a Mondo, Aurora, Bolero, or Esprecious on the bench or a van out at one, and the coverage list further down this page shows every zone we reach.
Are you authorized by Bravilor Bonamat?
No, and we say so plainly. We're an independent commercial coffee specialist, which lets us work on out-of-warranty machines, keep older Bonamat units going after the dealer network moves on, and quote against the actual fault rather than a manufacturer price book.
Why does my Bravilor heating element keep failing?
Almost always scale. The immersion element sits in the tank, and on hard local water it builds an insulating crust that makes it run hotter until it eventually pits and opens. We descale on every visit and fit a softening or filter cartridge so the replacement lasts. If yours has already gone, the swap itself is routine.
What's the most common Bravilor service call you get?
On the filter brewers it's a scaled sprayhead or element giving weak, cool coffee. On the Bolero it's a whipper making thin foam. On the Sego and Esprecious bean-to-cup machines it's a jammed brew unit or a milk system that's been skipping its daily clean. All three are bread-and-butter repairs for us.
My Bolero is making thin foam or no foam. Can you fix it?
Yes. Weak Bolero foam is nearly always a worn whipper motor or a bowl crusted with old product. We test the motor RPM under load, clean the bowl and impeller, and replace the motor if it reads below spec. A daily bowl flush keeps it from coming straight back.
My Esprecious or Sego brew unit is jammed. What happens on the visit?
Jams come from grind buildup and worn piston seals, so we pull the brew unit, clean every wear surface, fit fresh seals with food-safe grease, and run several test cycles before it goes back in. A proper service clears it. Most are done in the one visit.
The descale alert on my Bravilor won't clear. Why?
Running citric through the tank doesn't reset the counter on its own; it has to be cleared in the service menu. We confirm the descale actually ran end to end, reset the counter, and set the water-hardness value to match your supply so the alert times itself correctly from then on.
How fast can you get to a Bravilor that's down?
Most calls placed in the morning get a technician the same day, with later calls usually booked for the next business day. Give us the model and the symptom when you book and the van leaves with the likely parts loaded. A hotel or restaurant with no coffee at service gets moved up the route.
What does a Bravilor repair cost?
The visit and diagnosis are a flat amount you hear when you book, so nothing runs while we investigate. Parts are billed on top and depend on the fault, from a cheap O-ring to a whipper motor or a brew unit overhaul. For any larger job you get the full number on-site before we start.
What Bravilor parts do you carry on the van?
The fast movers ride with us: sprayheads, brew valves and diaphragms, element and thermostat spares, whipper motors and bowl seals, brew-unit seal kits, milk-line O-rings, and common sensors. That covers most calls in one trip. Display modules, control boards, and full grinders are ordered per job, usually next business day.
Can you handle a fleet of Bravilor machines across several sites?
Yes, multi-site and multi-machine work is routine. One booking can cover the Mondo in the cafeteria, the Bolero in the break room, and the Esprecious in the client lounge, with a single report listing what was done to each. When several machines share a fault, the cause is usually the water or the cleaning routine rather than the machines.
How often should a Bravilor be serviced?
It tracks your water and your volume more than the calendar. On hard local water a busy filter brewer or bean-to-cup wants a descale every couple of months, while lighter use stretches that out. We set a sensible interval on the first visit and flag the machines that are scaling faster than the rest.
Do I need a service contract for my Bravilor?
No. We work call by call, and plenty of customers only put us on a schedule after they've seen the work. A contract is a convenience for fleets that want planned descales, never a condition of getting a repair.
Can you still service older or discontinued Bonamat models?
Usually, yes. We take on legacy Mondo, Novo, Matic, and TH machines other shops won't quote. Sprayheads, valves, and elements still come through Bravilor's parts network, and where something is truly discontinued we source from refurbisher stock. When a repair stops making sense against a replacement, we say so.
When is it worth replacing a Bravilor instead of repairing it?
Most of the time repair wins, because the usual failures (elements, seals, sprayheads, whipper motors) cost a fraction of a new machine. We give you the repair number and an honest read on what's left in the unit, then you decide. We won't talk you into a part that isn't worth fitting.
My Bravilor is still under manufacturer warranty. Should you touch it?
Sometimes the warranty is the better route, and we'll tell you so on the phone. If the fault is covered, use it. A lot of what actually goes wrong, though, like scale damage, milk hygiene, and worn consumables, sits outside most coverage, and that is exactly the work we take on.
Do you fix the touchscreen and electronics on a Sego, Esprecious, or Bolero XL?
Yes. We read the fault log through the service interface and separate software from hardware. A reflash clears most frozen-screen and controller hangs, while a genuinely failed display module or board gets quoted before we order it. We don't write a machine off over an electronics fault that's really a firmware glitch.
Can hard water be handled so my Bravilor stops scaling up?
Yes, and on the local supply it's worth doing. We descale the machine back to spec and fit filtration or a softening cartridge sized to your daily volume, which protects the element and stretches the descale interval. It's the single biggest thing that keeps Bravilor brewers reliable here.
Do you repair Bravilor machines on-site or take them away?
On-site, almost always. Bravilor filter brewers, Boleros, and bean-to-cup machines are built to be serviced where they stand. The rare exception is a full strip-down or serious water damage that belongs on a bench, and we'll tell you that before anything leaves your building.
Will you show our staff how to keep it running after the repair?
Yes, by default on the way out. Half of repeat Bravilor faults trace back to a skipped daily clean or the wrong descale routine, so the technician walks your team through the bowl flush, the milk clean, or the descale that actually matters before leaving.
